Promote a Group
Start something together. Whether it's a weekly hike, a monthly dinner, a chess night, or a book club — put it on the People tab and let members near you find it and join in.
How It Works

Name Your Group
Up to 55 characters — what members see before they tap. Make it clear and inviting: "Saturday morning hike group" or "Chess & coffee every Sunday".

Describe It Fully
After they tap, they see everything — when you meet, where, how many people, how to join, skill level, etc.

Set Recurrence & Go Live
Pick how often the group meets. Your first 10 clicks are free — each member who taps uses one. Top up anytime to keep the group visible.
Content Policy
Nothing illegal, harmful, or harassing may be promoted. Violations result in immediate account suspension and, where warranted, contact with authorities. By posting you agree to dotyear’s community guidelines.
